“Flood Road hails from upstate New York and plays a unique blend of hard-driving Americana “roots” music. The quartet features the lyrics of J. Peter Yakel (guitar/vocals), framed by instrumentalists Chris Schultz (banjo/vocals), Bruce Barker (guitar) and Pete Murphy (bass). The band enjoys performing original and classic compositions of bluegrass, rock, folk and country blues.
